Origins of Our Offshore Services
The company entered the market of providing offshore IT resources in late 2006 in response to a client request to come up with a solution to the following problems:
- the client’s existing captive organization in Moscow, which focused on front-office IT, had successfully grown to 500+ personnel in 4 years but was becoming unmanageable, so we sought an alternative
- the internal management capacity and therefore appetite to create a new captive elsewhere in Eastern Europe was insufficient
- confidence in the quality offered by the client’s existing body-shopping providers in the region was not high enough to entrust with front-office IT roles in which high quality product knowledge as well as strong technical skills were considered key
Teknavo partnered with this initial client to address these issues, and has since gone on to develop a compelling business model.
